Around 1982 in Detroit some friends of mine and i went into a store and a guy came in who was a little shorter than me but seemed to be about 40 or 50 pounds overweight.. One of my friends said to the others 'that's what liljune is gonna look like in 25 years.' Everybody laughed including me. I said "ain't no way." Boy was i wrong. I went way past 50 pounds in that 23 year span. You would be hard pressed in recognizing the 1982 and the 2005 me as the same person. Time is age and age is time.

Met him first while I was on the road with Scherrie & Lynda's SUPREMES. Sat next to him (first clas!) on a flight we all took to Dubai and he truly is one of the nicest guys in showbusiness. Doesn't drink, doesn't cuss and doesn't 'bitch' about the old days as so many other acts do. Plus, he LOVES my girls, Scherrie Payne & Lynda Laurence's group. What can I say - the man has impeccable taste!

If you truly are fan and care for him pray for him and his loved ones. Life deals with all of us differently. I wonder what your classmates would think of you and your appearance so many years past the first time you met them? Don't be judgmental my friend.
