Rani Ki Vav unveiled as the next site to be scanned as part of the Scottish Ten. The historic site, known as the Queen's Stepwell is located in the town of Patan, India. Believed to date back to 1050, the well is made up of stepped terraces descending into the ground, adorned with around 400 sculptures representing a range of Hindu themes.
The Scottish Ten is an ambitious five-year project to use cutting edge technology to create exceptionally accurate digital models of Scotland's five UNESCO designated World Heritage Sites and five international sites. www.scottishten.org
