It's just in the trailer man, all the weapons sound different in the game. They've dubbed this over for some reason.

Well if Epic came out with UE4 back 4-5 years ago when Yager began developing it, I'm pretty sure they'd have considered it.
Besides, innovation doesn't seem to be the focus. More like twisting the familiar into something entertaining or breaking the trend of "Uninteresting heros stopping the terrorists or Russians with Nukes". I know the people I talk to enjoy the personality & humanity to the game & lack of moral high ground amonst the game's factions, which is really what the game focuses on
