Halo Gets Fabled Machinima Series: Hal's Odyssey

The Human-Covenant War ends. A memorial dedicated to the victims of the war is built in Kenya on Earth.

Although peace has been made, rogue groups of covenant zealots have been known to cultivate, demanding a split from the humans, claiming they are a plague to the Covenants once steadfast faith. All necessary means have been taken to put down these threats, but even so, new groups arise, and conflicts often turn violent. Spartan recon teams are then sent in to resolve these conflicts if force is required.

October 21, 2612
A group of religious zealots were stumbled upon last night, October 20, at 2200 hours, by a FCNS scouting party. The fanatics, who dubbed themselves The Balverine Exiles, viciously attacked the scouts. Apparently significant in numbers, The zealots overwhelmed the scouts, and only a few escaped to report the incident to their superiors. A Spartan recon team was called in to handle the situation; recon team Solstice, headed by Spartan 286, Hal Martel.

in a way, but its the way everything works. youtube itself makes more money from machinima's channel than machinima does from its adds, so in essence its almost the same thing. it doesnt bother me much at this point ;)
