I hook my wheelock bell outside and tested it. I think the bell sounds louder outside because I heard it loudly from across the street. I think the wheelock bells are the loudest fire/school bells in the world because of their fast ring and strong motors. The remote also works across the street too. I forgot to hook up the other two digital timer Noma and Garrison for the timer ringer. I only use the nexxtech for the remote. Also the Garrison and Noma digital will work outside but I would need a extra extension cord with a ground wire to plug into the wall plugin, a ground wire extension cord will have 3 metal peices, neutral, hot, and ground. The netrual metal peice is bigger than the hot metal peice and both are flat and fits in the electrical outlet side by side, Tte ground metal peice is round and fits in the electrical outlet on the bottom. My digital timers needs extral ground extension cord ( a extension cord with 3 Metal peices and plugs in the electrical outlet like a upside down triangle). Some extension cord don't have the 3rd ground wire metal peices meaning it's only has the 2 flat ones neutral and hot metal peices. There's a flap on the electrical out and it will not fit my other 2 digital timers (Garrison and Noma) that why I needs a extension cord with a ground wire, my digital timer need to hook into a ground wire extension cord because all 3 of my digital timers got 3 metal peices and my garrison and Noma digital timers coudn't fit into the electrical outlet because of that gray flap. The gray flay covers up the outside electrical outlet because of weather. I used the remote contro to ring the bell 60 feet away, like across the street. I put the camera up close to each of my bells to see if they was both ringing together, They was ringing together. I unplug The 10 inch bell and rang the 6 inch bell and then I reconnected the 10 inch bell and unplug the 6 inch bell and rang the 10 inch bell. The transformers are plug into a extension cord without the ground wire because The transformers only have 2 flat metal peices. The digital timers need 3, 2 flat metal peices and a round metal peices. I use the extension cord for the bell's black plung in transformers to reach the electrical outlet which the digital timer was plug in. I mount the bells on a hook whitch scews into the house or wall by the windows. I have to remove the shell or gong (Bell cap) with a pair of pliers for the bolt before I put the hook in throught the hole on the back part of the bell where I could Mount it on. The back part has 4 holes to screw in on a board or wall. but I Left The bells dangling on one of the four holes and on the hook. I screw it tight on the wall by the window and put the bell gong back on with pliers and the bells was hanging and dangling almost sideways, but that ok as long as I don't ring the bells upside down because If I ring the bells upside down, the gravity will pull the hammer away from the gong and the bells won't ring as loud and I also screw the hook on tight so the vibration won't cause the bell to drop and break. I think people who works at School, fire stations, Places that needs general signaling alarms and those who can't wake up from sleep will love to get their hands on my Wheelock bells that got a transformer that plus into the digital timers. You could work into a big place with a electrical outlet under each motor bells for the transformers to fit into the electrical outlet and all the electrical outlets that are under each bell are connected to the main digital timer and that digital timer is connected to the main electrical outlet. For example power goes out of the electrical outlet and into the digital timer and then the power only goes out of the digital timer when the timer alarm and when the digital timer alarms power goes to each of the electrical outlets in the building that has the transformer connected to it and rings all the bells in the building. The transformers reduces the electricty down to the voltage the bell could handle.
nice! bet theyre fucking loud inside arent they? especialy with 5 or 6 in the same room.
