Actually that's not true. From the show's conception Kripke was dead set against having angels. In 'Houses of the Holy', Sera Gamble wanted the creature to be an angel but Kripke refused. Kripke's quote is "at the time I had the no angel rule - I just didnt want them." Between seasons 3-4 that he began wondering how to keep the demon mythology fresh and realised if he was looking at the show in a yin-yang way then angels were the other side of the coin to demons. So they brought in the angels.

i would have loved it when he said ''how certain are you that you brought back is 100% pure sam'' and he meant it because sam had no soul like in season 6 that would have been brilliant!!!

i think i know what azazel meant when when he said ''how certain are you that you brought back is 100% pure sam'' he meant he's a more angry sam he wasnt before jake killed him he never killed jake but after that he wanted to kill jake so he's more angry because he got killed and betrayed but mostly i think he yellow eyes said it to mess with deans mind to make it sound like something worse.

@TreeHillRavens123 For the record, the show had always planned to include angels and God in it, it was in the plot proposals since Day1.
