I use to go to the Craig and to the Roundabout hotel to see Billy V. He was passionate with his music and that's probably why he was such a hot dj, not to mention that he had a heart of gold.
Anyone know his whereabouts?

I can't believe i found this, Billy V taught me everything i knew about DMC- i went on to win the 1992 under 18's NSW comp with the help of this guy.

yeah you must remember its 1990! a massive turning point in music,clubs ect!RAP WAS ALREADY ON ITS WAY THANX TO RUN DMC AND EVEN DERECK B HIP HOUSE WAS COMING THREW AND EVERY THING WAS NEW...THE DRUGS WERE STRONG AND CHEAP AND THEIR WERE PARTYS EVERY WERE!! 1990 was my generations summer of 67' and public enemy was just about to drop the bomb!! nuff respect to all those dj's ..cause ya gotto have a past so ya can have a future BIGGUP!!!

no you couldnt, see that was the way in 1990, just before qbert etc, scratchin was just coming in, the mix was important, i think that some of the guys are amazing right now, however its good to look back & watch, thanks.
