October 12, 2009, we took the holiday (in Argentina) from the morning to practice Hung Gar.
This set of cudgel is called 栂花洪阳棍 'Meihua HongYang Gun' or 'plum flower of the sun in the morning staff' but actually has a meaning "hidden" in its name (according to my Master Tang KwokKwai) symbolizes: MEIHUA Chinese flower and, HONGYANG are the surnames of two Chinese patriots (heads of the Taiping rebels) HONG Xiuquan and YANGXiuqing.
While this set is in some lineages of Hung Gar and ChoyLiFut (CaiLiFo) is very little known.
Here we can see the 1st day of class in this set.
