London, 21st July 2010 - 6.30pm
Chancellor's Room of University of London's Hughes Parry Hall.

Professor Richard Norman talked to the Central London Humanist Group about his personal view On Humanism.

"On Humanism - Thinking in Action" is the title of Professor Norman's book: "A lucid account of Humanism which combines the virtues of a fairly balanced discussion and a passionate polemic. It deserves to become Humanism's unofficial manifesto - the only kind a free thinking movement can have." - Julian Baggini.

Professor Richard Norman is Emeritus Professor of Moral Philosophy, founder-member of the Humanist Philosophers' Group, and a Vice-President of the British Humanist Association: http://www.humanism.org.uk/

The event, Chaired by Alan Palmer, started at 6.30pm.
Professor Richard Norman spoke for about 40 minutes and audience Q&A followed.

Discussion inevitably followed in "The Lord John Russell", a pub down the road from the venue.
