Buskers in New Orleans (2) - January, 14, 2010

(Mia Goldsmith, Chance Bushman and the Shoe String Jazz Band Busking on Royal St.) This was the first time I pulled a new camera out of the box and turned it on. It was just a test and I didn't think much about it. There were no adjustments to the picture quality and I made no real effort to hold the camera steady... therefore, not the best camera work for sure. However, the band, the dancers and the song are all amazing and I've watched this little slice of time captured here... again and again and again... I love it... I really, really, really wish I had payed more attention and at least caught the whole song... but here it is anyway. If you are EVER in New Orleans... go to Royal St., find these people... smile, be joyful, dance... and give them all your money.

The correct name is the Shoe Shine Fine Jazz Band. I saw them in NOLA last year just about the same time. Great band!
