Urghhhhh i tried to paint like that...did not end pretty. I just keep saying it is possible to like painting without being good at it. I think i should stick to drawing, i am a little better with that.

What do you use to smudge the white speckles when you're doing the greenery? Is that a sponge or are you puttinga wash over it?

There're no rules when it comes to art. That's why people love it. You can paint however and whatever you want, and in my opinion, this is great ;D
