Example of text entry in Firefox 3.5 for Windows, showing the automatic use of OpenType ligatures and contextual alternates. The video further demonstrates a Web page which uses the @font-face CSS mechanism to display a font that is not actually installed on the computer.
At the time of this writing, Firefox 3.5 appears to be the only Web browser that makes use of the contextual alternates table (though it does not do so under Linux).
The text being entered is from page 162 of "The Arte of Rhetorique" (1560) by Thomas Wilson.
