US national debt $ 15,252,000,000,000.- compared to GDP $ 15,126,000,000,000.- means a gross dept/GDP ratio of more than 100%.

And still raising the debtceiling?

But why bother? Why bother when you can buy batman tickets 6 months in advance, have big screen tv's for christmas, go on holiday or spend all your borrowed money in a casino?

And if people get poor from all the borrowing, they won't protest because we have booze, drugs and the internet.

people in usa have bought their batman movie tickets 6 months in advance; lots of people bought big screen tvs for xmas, people are still flying, going to casinos.

people in usa are no longer living beyond their means-----big difference between that and being as broke as european countries, or russia.

russians are still coming to "broke" usa, for a better life
