US Marine embarked on her for the first Gulf War. 2nd Combat Engineers attached to 1/2. Still think about her everytime I hear this song. Running the mean fifteen on the flight deck in boots and utes and Muscat, Oman for liberty...

LOVED seeing this. My husband served on the Guam '83-87, Grenada, Challenger recovery, Lebanon..a decade+ before we were to meet. Hot damn this is great video, THANKS!

Those are all Marine Corps helicopters. Astro niner was the only Guam aircraft onboard when I was there from 1977 t0 1980.
