The tempo is really too fast. This is a matter of taste however to each artist. I sang this song many times during my Italian carer (1963-1995). It's interesting to hear it done by a baritone instead of the usual tenor or soprano. In fact you sound like a tenor. Lovely quality. The acoustics of the room seem very warm, though the people moving about had to have been somewhat distracting. Go on like this. Ernesto Vasselli

I think the singer enjoyed this piece. It is marked "Andante cantabile" so it is to be on the faster side of "Andante." When performed with the true emotion of the piece it is not as easy as you may think.
