Lower complete dentures literally cripple people in that they can't eat without pain and what they eat is usually soft food lacking nutrition. This patient of Dr. Antolak's discusses the life change he had with dental implants to hold his complete denture in place. He is now able to eat the foods he wants and not the food he can without getting anything under his denture.
Just looking into it now. It's my greatest fear and now a reality as the only molar I have on the lower right side, which also supports the upper denture broke a couple of days ago and is so sensitive I can't eat a piece of cheese. Hope to get this resolved soon but boy oh boy am I scared.

I would have liked to see them taken out and put in. My dad has parkinsons and he isn't sure he can pull them out easy enough.
