Here's some CBBC continuity from 1998 with Kirsten O'Brien and Otis- not much I'm afraid. The first is an end credit announcement from The Demon Headmaster. The second is the end of an episode of The Chuckle Brothers' game show "To Me To You" followed by Kirsten & Otis talking to Katy Hill about that day's Blue Peter, and a talk with Mr. Wymi, leading into another episode of The Demon Headmaster.

The last two clips are simply end credit announcements over the end of Demon Headmaster episodes.

There are announcements over the credits of all of the episodes I have on this tape (I have the last 4 episodes of Series 1 and all of Series 2) but I've only upload the ones where the presenters appear in vision.

Unfortunatly at the time I taped it, I decided not to record any of the links, I only taped the programmes. The only reason I have the full link here is because I was on holiday that week and set the timer, leaving several minutes either side of the episode- I wasn't making the same mistake which lead to my Farthing Wood recordings 4 years earlier being cut short. Sadly, I taped over the link after the episode.

  • Isn't it strange how CBBC has gone full circle these days, between the mid 90's and 2007 they were in studio 9 for continuity, but now they seem to ahve gone back to old ways as the new studio bears an extreme resemblance to the Broom Cupboard.

I know Ed and Oucho could never matcht the likes of Andi Peters and Edd the Duck, however its still a similar sort of style, and quite strange the way things have gone backwards!

  • They're probably only doing it now because it's cheaper than using a full studio. Though watching the old clips on here, the broomcupboard always seemed better than the studio based stuff. Though the programmes that were presented from the studio pre-1994, which were mainly Sundays and school holidays, always had a different feel to that from after they moved in there full time.

  • urgh CBBC went down hill since 2004 :( such a shame...all the shite they are showing to the 21st century kids right now.

  • I'd personally say it started to go downhill when they got rid of the broomcupboard, but that's because I'm an old fart ;-)

  • have u still got series 2 and 3 of the demon headmaster

  • I have the entirety of Series 2 and the last 4 episodes of Series 1. I never taped series 3 sadly.

  • Please can someone upload the Mr. Wymi episodes?

I haven't seen that show for years!

  • I feel sorry for kids these days.

the "CBBC" of today, the presenters talk to you like you're retards.

The intro of the demon headmaster even no is a little scary lol. nice music. Doubt they'd show it today.

  • I forgot that Chuckle gameshow, yet it feels like yesterday that I last watched it!!

  • This was back in the day before the PC brigade got their hands on 'equallity and human rights', and demanded kids' programmes were all neutered, vetted, and ensured all ethnicities were catered for. Ironic that their attempts to 'shield' the children from racial stereotypes has most likely resulted in the carnage we've seen over the past few days.

  • MEMORIES of my childhood.... ah man someone invent a time machine already i wanna take a trip to the 90s!!

  • this is much better than todays cbbs.

today is so patronizing and silly. you have some twat talking to a cactus. and he's not even funny he boring and messes up all the cues and stares at the camera. and as for the shows.
