COME TO AMORC (Calypso Theme Song)

As part of the on-going drive to mobilize new seekers, Kairi Lodge in collaboration with its former Grand Councilor, Chris. Codrington, found it necessary to produce a Calypso theme song titled ' COME TO AMORC' in 1999. The Calypso was written and sung by one of its members Fr. Earl Grant and arranged by E. Ector, with background vocals by another member Sr. Avalon Clarke. This Calypso is a lyrical interpretation of the 'Mastery of Life'. This video clip of the 1987 opening of Kairi Lodge (formerly Trinidad Chapter) is being featured,at this time, as a mark of respect to our unsung heroes; Kairi's veterans who paved the way for the work of the Order in Trinidad & Tobago. In this particular clip, the then master, Fr. Chris. Codrington is shown introducing the oldest members of the Order to the membership. Many of them in this video are now deceased. However, in spite of the many challenges they endured from religious organizations, family and friends, their loyalty and devotion to the ideals of our beloved Order must never be forgotten.

The idea is to use calypso, the culture of trinidad & tobago, and take it into un-explored regions. That is, the regions of higher spiritual consciousness, and from there, tell our story, to define who and what we are as a fraternity.
