Jimmie Vaughan gives me chills because I get his style. He is tastefull, he's down with the blues and his tone is perfect. Alot of people loves him, though I don't listen to guitarists like Van Halen doesn't mean I don't respect the fact that his music has other values. It's so many ways to express your feelings through an instrument. So let's cut the bullshit. Everybody thinks they are the "master of taste", nobody are. It's all SUBJECTIVE opinions.

The Vaughans always know what they're doing. More than people would think, Jimmie and Stevie's styles are very different. Just the techniques they use, the way they would respond to a certain phrase, etc.
You can't say that they're alike. Hell, you can't even say that one is better than the other. It's comparing an apple to an orange.
Comparing blues to metal is like comparing cream and roast beef. It's impossible to do.
Sorry I wrote this post when I was sort of hungry.
