Christy Vath, PA-C -- Christy Vath, PA-C is a physician assistant in the rheumatology department at Minor & James Medical. She believes that it's important for patients to feel that they can openly communicate with their provider. Having been diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 5, she has a very personal stake in rheumatology which allows her to easily relate to patients as well as bring a lot of empathy to each encounter. She enjoys coming to work every day to change people's perspective on what is often thought of to be a chronic disabling illness and to help them become their own advocate.
