i'd say 500 home runs puts you in contention for one of the best hitters ever, he'll be in the HOF for sure.
and he did it without steroids.

Frank Thomas is the reason why I collected baseball cards. I had every one up until 1995. He is the reason why I still like the White Sox. The Big Hurt FTW!!

does anyone remember the time he seen twenty something pitches in one at bat and finally belted a home run out of the deal? It was when he was with the sox against the twins ... i want to say during the 2004 season ... i would love to see that here on youtube!!

Big Hurt was the Greatest ever to put on a White Sox uniform unfortunately he was a dick! Not quite as bad as Barry Bonds but definately had a bad attitude on life. I grew up 5 min from Sox park and stood outside the parking lot fence by his car every chance I got. He never smiled, always had an attitude and rarely signed until P.R told him to change his attitude and sign some autographs!
