Dear Sir:
For a few weeks now, I've been watching your tutorials on wiring, building tunnels, scenery, etc.
I wish to sincerely thank you for the great effort you've made towards helping all of us train lovers and modelers, especially those of us in the process of building our first layout.
I very much appreciate your patience, your kindness and demeanor. You're a great asset to this hobby.
I'm sure that I speak for everyone watching your videos when I say thank you very much.

I had a HO scale train layout 25 years ago then I moved and put the whole thing away in a footlocker and a few boxes. Just in the last two months, I decided to re-visit the hobbist in me and set up another layout. Much has changed over the years in model railroading. I was helped by your videos. So I'm taking a moment to thank you for the information contained in your videos as well as your efforts that went into doing the videos. I believe your videos are invaluable to many who have seen them.

well i got a model and my power box that makes my train go wont work because of some of tracks.
-
this is what I did... if you buy a thing of water bottles, it can come in a cardboard bottom. I marked where my tracks would be, cut out the entrance and exit, carved some foam bricks to make it look like mud or erosion sloping, paint, and whacha, you got a tunnel.

How do you keep the tracks clean - I don't think it looks as if you can get a track rubber in there?
Nice video (it's hard work crawling around, getting up and down isn't it?!!) lol

Thank you for recording these clips and sharing them with us. I especially like the way you've worked the foam in your other clips, and given it a realistic/natural treatment. I'm just starting out now (planning phase) so I'm looking forward to implementing your techniques. I look forward to more clips as they come available.
thanks for the info! im starting to build a tunnel now but im just planning it right now.. i need to find a good amount of styrofoam for my tunnel, maybe il make it a mountain with a tunnel through it.. it won't be too big but it willl be my first tunnel ive ever made. what foam do you use? the insulation foam? that might work well for mine.

I used the two inch think rigid pink extruded foam. I glued the layers together with liquid nails for hobbies.
