Slicing and dicing peppers for dinner has never been so easy. Head over to the Family Circle Test Kitchen with Parents TV Host Juli Auclair for tips on how to core a pepper from a pro!
I think that would only work sometimes. Like someone else said, peppers, even the red peppers can come in very different shapes. They were just lucky to get an almost perfectly square pepper.
Well, yes it would be. Perhaps a better suggestion might be to instead of cutting straight down do a diagonal cut into the pepper, like \|/ , where | is the core, and \ / are the cuts. This would reduce waste, but keep most of the speed/efficiency.

Wasteful? It's about the same as cutting it any other way unless you use all of the seeds.
