Dee has arrived home safely :)
I just filmed what I do with every new horse I get, spend the day with them and figuring out how they behave.
Dee is very gentle and sweet natured. Planning on doing some desensitizing work with her tomorrow and possibly getting on her for the first time :D
Any questions just ask

  • does she still have her racing plates on? my friends ottb mare still had hers when she got her off the track.

  • @SombraWolf24

Yeah she still has her racing plates on, took off her back ones yesterday and I'll be taking off her front ones today. She's going to be transitioned to barefoot :)

  • what happened to her head? It looks like she has two holes in it!

  • @allieamy9497

I'm not sure what happened, but they are just two marks, the hair will grow back :)

  • This beautiful girl looks like she has a good home now. Do you plan to train her for yourself or for sale??

  • @lovesbriardi

I'll be training her to sell her on, shame because I would like to keep her for myself! I just haven't got my own property and school is very busy at the moment, not to mention the fact I already have two other horses!

  • I do have a question. What is your process from the time you get the horse to the time where your relationship is on it's way to being 'complete'. Where you trust the horse as much as the horse trusts you? Can you e-mail me and lead me through this process of yours, I would like to pratice this with my frist horse, Teddy, I would really appreicate it. If you are willing. I have been trying to find information on the steps and the process that you have in horsemanship and have not been able to.
