wow that looks awesome
-
turn your gun down and dont point it straight at the top. that burst is awful but it can only get better after that i suppose. other than that the guitar looks nice
-
thats pink floyd playing isnt it
-
Not so much a Cherryburst as it is a Cherry Ring. Can't say I like it.
-
@deathcore1239 well done* and btw, i like the AANJ on the back, sssooo much more comfortable, like my ibanez
-
its cool but its not really a burst, theres no transition. it just kinda goes from red to natural with a slight blend. like i said, its awesome but not a burst. still well dont
-
did you have to use primer?
-
The red burst color isn't wide enough.

Nice job. I feel the red covers too much on the top, keeps the curly maple from popping as it should. To each his own though. Very nice!

what kind of clear coat did you use?

I used Deft lacquer on this but you could use any nitro cellulose lacquer like the ones sold at stewmac or rereanch.

The fingerboard? Hmmm...Some people like it like that. You can go with it or sand it off or use stripper if you don't like it. If it's maple that's common practice. Not typical of rosewood. Rosewoods kind of oily. Might sand off easily if theres not too much...
