searching around the internet for the Earl Wild arrangement of this piece is tedious and time consuming. if there is anyone out there who can direct us to a valid source of where to get this piece free or otherwise, please, PLEASE say so. thank you.

Captures the moment, doesn't it.

This Earl Wild's version is marvelous

Has anyone got this sheet music? I really want to learn it :(

Apparently his partner was Kay Swift, who was female.

I like his phrasing and his choice of articulation ( as far as interpretation goes). It is beautiful. Have you heard Ella Fitzgerald sing this? It's BEAUTIFUl. I like the piano version though. The jazz takes don't have the same Romantic flavour and the same pianistic touches despite being quite beautiful in their own way.
I LOVE GERSHWIN!

i wonder where i can get a music score of this...anyone know????
I'm pretty sure this was arranged by Earl Wild in his Seven Virtuoso Etudes on Gershwin Themes. Very well played by the way.

I'll say it again: These elegant arrangements of Gershwin songs so beautifully played by Mr. Kurtz evoke the atmosphere of a Celestial Cocktail Lounge.
By the way it matters not one whit whether Gershwin --- or George Washington --- or The Prophet Mohammed --- was gay. Neither should we care whether Beethoven died of syphilis or not. Such considerations are none of our business, and irrelevant to quality and significance of the achievements made by these or any other notable figures.
