What are the items from :46-:52? What detects the touch on the glass?
AaronSpeaking 2 months ago in playlist Favorite videos
@AaronSpeaking The items are: IR Lasers, a modified webcam and laser safety glasses.
It's a software dection. Laser light is shined above the glass, when you touch the surface the finger lights up and the webcam records the blob.

@tokedesmoke There's no leds, they are IR Lasers. This is a LLP Table. More info @ wiki nuigroup com laser light plane illumination

when you were demonstrating the picture moving and resizing at the end, was that moving slowly and choppy because the computer couldn't handle it (aka crappy computer), or is that just how it works? because I would definitely do this with a really nice computer if it was guaranteed to be fast, and responsive.

@PancakeParty37 The computer used was a dual core. With a more powerful computer, the animations would have been faster and smoother.
