Driving McDreamy: Patrick Dempsey in the Goodwood FOS 2007

I am driving Patrick Dempsey AKA McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy up the hill at the Goodwood FOS in the eXpansys.com Lotus 2-Eleven. Nick Adams, the designer of the car, is giving me a pep talk before the run. It is raining hard and very slippery, an Aston crashed heavily the day before. I am following a $5M one of a kind Ferrari P4/5 and former F1 World Champion Damon Hill is behind me in a ProDrive Aston Martin, I don't want to crash in front of 200,000 spectators with McDreamy by my side! Patrick Dempsey is a great guy and a real racer, I enjoyed getting to spend some time with him and giving him a ride in the 2-Eleven.

Great video - I saw this posted on Roland P's page. My wife and I were there in the stands (Jeff Beck turned up which was pretty damn cool) and we drove in the Targa Florio the year before with Jim G. Small world!

Great video. closest i think i'll get to being in a lotus 2 eleven. just wanted to ask how does the lotus drive to anything else you have driven or been in? anyway keep up the great work, i know it takes alot of time and effort to produce good quality videos so thanks for sharing them. hope to see you at the 2009 goodwood festival of speed (do you know what car you will be driving up in will look out for you and gibe you guys the thumbs up (thats if you see the tiny blurr of a hand!)? thx again
