This is a project I have been working on all winter, Restoring this old boat has been a blast. The project includes turning the gaser to all electric.NOT done yet! With 24 to 96 volts the goal is to get on to plane and hit 18MPH if not faster.
6000 RPM electric motor. I still have the trailer to complete, then onto the motor.

  • Nice Work ~ Cant wait to see the electric motot go!!! ~ What kind of electric motor is that?~ It looks like you have some SERIOUS power!

  • @videobreakthru Thank you it is pretty nice, as far as the motor goes, it does not yet give me a month or 2 and it will and I will show all so everyone understands it.

  • What size of electric motor is in the boat. And are you useing litium or lead acid batteries.Reason asking I have a 62 Glastron I would like to convert.

  • Very cool. I live on a lake but there are strictly electric boats only.. I am looking to find something like this to have some fun with maybe pull some tubes but do not know where i can find a motor thats fast enough.. the torqeedos are powerful enough but not fast enough.. how can i produce the speed??
