@bitpym Well, Solid Snake used to be involved with all the bosses. He was fighting in Big Boss' team, if I remember correctly, along with all the others. He saw no reason to fight them and was trying to get information from them. Oh, btw: Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

@Usul573 Getting into 10+ minute discussions when you're on a time sensitive mission to save the world doesn't make sense. Being all friendly with every supervillain who just tried to kill you doesn't make sense. Granted, MGS 1's plot is fairly sane compared to the rest of the MGS games.

MGS2 got more into the insane babbling, MGS1 made sense. Within the universe at least.
