Beauty and The Rockstar Ch.1 - WORLD PREMIERE-

OMGOMGOMG!!! WORLD PREMIERE OF "BEAUTY AND THE ROCKSTAR"!!!!
I sighed and walked downstairs of my house, its been a week since my sixteenth birthday, and I know, from previous experiences, that when youre sixteen in my family, you start planning your wedding. What dress, who your bridesmaids will be, and what song youre going to dance to with your dad for the father daughter dance. But the one thing thats different in my family- I dont choose the groom-. You would think that your parents want you to find love, and live happily ever after. Mine want me to live a good life, have somebody to provide for me. Thats why I have an arranged marriage. My parents havent told me who Im supposed to marry. I would have said that it would be an old family- friend but theyre famous, so they wouldnt go for it anymore, and my parents know how much I hate one of them.
See, it all happened a couple of years ago.
FLASHBACK
Jess- so you know them?
I smiled and nodded at my friend as we got closer to the meet and greet table.
Finally it was our turn.
Ruby- Nick!
I said, hugging him tight.
Nick- uhh, hi, so you want a photo?
Jess looked at me and rolled her eyes.
Ruby- uh, yeah, I guess.
I mumbled.
We got our photo taken.
Nick went to sign my cd for me.
Nick- whats your name?
Ruby- Ruby.
Nick- thats a nice name, we have a friend named ruby.
I smiled, I knew he remembered.
Nick- she lives across the road from us, but shes nine, more frankies friend than ours.
Ruby- oh, cool.
I mumbled.
I took the cd and went to walk off.
Nick- RUBY!
He called out.
I turned back around with a smile.
Nick ran up to me.
Nick- you forgot your camera.
Ruby- oh, th-thanks.
I turned and ran off.
Jess- liar.
She mumbled as we walked outside.
Ruby- jess, I really did know-
Jess- forget it ruby, I cant stand liars.
She walked away and I sighed and met my parents to drive home.
END OF FLASHBACK
Nick used to be my best friend, and now, well now he doesnt even remember me. And worse, nobody would talk to me at school the next day, jess had totally turned against me, and I was ignored, knocked over and had things spilt on me every day. So I left last year, my mum homeschooled me, and Ive already finished. I really wanted to study and do something with my life. But instead I have to cook, clean, and basically be a servant. Obviously thats not what mum calls it. She calls it being a Housewife.
I DONT WANT TO BE A HOUSEWIFE
I walked into the kitchen/dining area and mum and dad were sitting at the table, My little sister Jessie had gone to my brothers house for the weekend.
This cant be good.
Mrs W- Ruby, come and take a seat.
I sighed and went and sat at the table.
Ruby- who is he, how much longer do I have?
Mr W- Ruby, dont use that tone young lady, you know we only do what is best for you.
I sighed.
Mrs W- Youre really going to love who you marry sweetheart.
I sighed again and nodded.
Mrs W- look sweetheart, I know you dont like this, but its what we do, its how your father and I ended up together. He can provide for you.
Mr W- and you can provide for him.
I looked up at them.
Ruby- what do you mean- provide for him?
Mr W- provide support for his busy lifestyle, and in a year or so, provide him with children.
My eyes went wide.
Ruby- CHILDREN!!!
