Dammm that sure beats the hell out of my treehouse when I was a kid.
Know what mine was? It was a fucking pallet that my dad nailed to a tree, then told me to go have fun, I loved it, I didn't know any better

Do you need local council consent to build this? In Sydney, Australia where I live, this structure would be subject to strict controls.

Looks like you did a good job! Watch those openings in the walls where the branches pass through - I've seen some that rub against wood during storms and it has killed some branches by girdling.

Absolutely awesome! Your family is lucky to have you & each other. Enjoy life, pay no mind to the sarcasm & jealousy. Small people put others down so that they feel better about their own crappy lives.
