  • If we look into Chinese history, Hakka language has been researched and found to be closest to the traditional "Classical Chinese" - the original ONE Chinese Language spoken by the ancient Chinese before it evolved into so many dialects. Therefore, the Hakka's may be considered the oldest Chinese dialect group and the MOST original,

  • I am a Hakka, I lives in US over 40 years.

    father. I redret that my child can not speak Hakka.

  • No one likes to be treated with disdain.Now time is come for Pun Ti community to drop the name hakka,and adopt a accurate name,that is Pun Ti ,which means local born .Pun ti community now boldly to identify their community and language as Punti,let the hakka term in history book and create a new glorious history that is to adopt new term among the community.

  • lol. The Hakkas were originally from the north but because of political persecution or such, they migrated in big numbers to the north, therefore, disliked by the northeners for coming in and staying in their land, profit from their money in businesses, etc
