  • How heavy do you reccomend the hula hoop to be?

    And, does it have to be some kind of special hula hoop or can you just use one of

    those cheap ones?

    I recommend the medium size fitness hoop that you can get at

    bodyhoops

    Perfectly weighted. check the sizing information to be sure that medium is what you need. save $5 with coupon code "youtube" at bodyhoops. You will have more success with this hoop because of the weight and size, the toy store hoops are for kids and won't work for adults. Happy hooping.

    Hi, the hoop I am using is the standard fitness hoop, size small. It's 39" in diameter and weighs about a pound and a half. Happy Hooping!

  • Hey, i have been hooping for a year now, im not sure how heavy my hoop is but i hoop a weighted hoop for 30 mins each day, how many calories will this burn and will it help my stomach tone? does it do anything for wasit and hips too? Please reply. x

  • Hi, glad you are enjoying the hooping. Its important to do your hooping practice 5-6 times a week consistently. By challenging yourself to include more footwork and arm movements makes your hooping session more aerobic. You will develop core strength and tone the entire body with a regular hoop practice, nutritious diet, plenty of water and rest. Have fun!

  • I can only hula hoop in one direction :/

  • If you work out for at least 1hour hula hooping, push ups, sit ups,jumping jacks... non stop....how much weight can you really loose in a week?

    I would also ask, what's the best time to work out?

    I usually do it around 8pm I get to lazy to do it in the morning! Thank you :)

  • Just started hooping and boy do my legs and abs burn! I'd love to do some basic front and back steps. I'm not that good yet!

  • ya im a dude and i do this for cardio, 30 minutes. and i will walk around in circles doing it haha, ill be honest i dont know how im able to do it..but ya this is a good warm up, and your really good at it haha
