Do you feel like your energy crashes mid-morning? Well here's a smart tip to keep you feeling energetic and focused straight through until lunch! My tip is to make sure that you start the day with a smoothie. And the reason why this is so important is a couple of things. Number one, we know that people who use a meal-replacement shake, a smoothie, actually lose more weight and keep it off. Ditto for those who eat a substantial breakfast and you can really make this shake substantial by putting in clean, lean protein -- a great protein powder; some healthy fats, like coconut milk; pumping it up with fiber, like raspberries and freshly ground flax seed meal; and this is gonna give you great, steady, sustained energy and focus that literally will last you 4-6 hours. And, one more thing, that excuse of I don't have time for breakfast... well that's gone. This is one that you can make in minutes and even take with you in the car.
