Filmmaker Matthew Stevens presents "stargazer." A tale of (mis)perceptions, anticipation, self-doubts, connections, chihuahuas, a woman, a man, a note, ice cream and a lily, all "sense"itively wrapped in a fragrant little package and delivered, via black/white 16mm, to a world hungry for the smell of love. Kick-ass. Features an original score by Shane Chapman.
It's like Benny Hill goes to dinner with Jim Jarmusch, and they get mugged by Darren Aronofsky!

Chaplinesque in its poignancy, Beckettian in its irony and bitterness, and all Stevens in its Lily.
PS: lose the old school disability names. We don't need you to telegraph to us in text the "disabilities" that block their meeting--the film does that very nicely on its own.
