you must cover the frame with isolation also, don;t let it close to the inside panel you will get water from condensation in the walls

Thank you for the video... I was trying to figure this out but you saved me from a trouble.

Wouldn't it have been easier using spray expansion foam insulation?

Some great information I can use as I stumble through my conversion. Guess now I need to watch the rest of your posts to see what else I can learn.

Speaking for myself, all tips are more then welcome! In fact I'm eagerly looking forward to #12. I've been following your progress avidly! I loved your tip with the felt marker and the cardboard 'bridge' piece - transferring the pattern. Really.. Excellent! Thanks

Great profiling tip. I've used similar method when fitting wood floors and having to cut around door frames etc.
I love the tick board marker technique......excellent, what is it called... i think you are very clever.....seriously.

@jurassicnev67 Hey thanks! But as I said, it's not original to me. I think it came from shipbuilding where they are trying to fit out inside a sharply curved hull, but also very useful in vans with curved sides :-) !

VERY good video! Informative! Thanks for taking the trouble to show others (hopefully so they/we don't have to blunder on our own!)

Cheers. There are other profiling tips such as templating, profile gauges, or even just measure coordinates and plot, which I show in other videos, but this one here is suitable for large areas. I think they use it in marine fitters when they have to fit in partitions against the curved sides of the hull.
