Something a little different...

A Seasons' Sonnet Christian Carnucci

Spring:
Spring unfolds like flowers bloom.
I steal another kiss from you.
The moment seems impossibly sublime.

Summer:
Now summer warms like passions breath,
Breathed upon your supple neck.
Magic's in the air like fireflies.

Autumn :
Soon autumn comes and colors change.
What once was clear somehow seems strange.
I hardly even know you anymore.

Winter :
Then winter steals the warmth away.
Theres nothing left for me to say.
Cause you are gone and I am all alone.

  • EXCELLENT Chris!!

  • Wonderful and spectacular! This a really fascinating direction -- more like art song than pop. Is this your first song like this, or have you written others?
