The word "Hawa" in Arabic has double meanings, it simply means air and also means love, and in this song the writer tells about a lover whose love is just like "Air"...very hard to get a hold of and grasp !!

I was rather surprised to see images of Western style fairies with an Eastern song. Are fairies a part of the Arab/Persian cultural traditions? Or were they adopted entirely from Western cultural traditions?

Don't u remember the genie in"Aladdin", or the different types of fairies in "One thousand and one night" stories, so i think it's been around in Arab/Persian cultures long ago, may be even before the literature in the west was entirely developed

Actually air is closer to the double meaning you correctly stated above. Wind is "reeh". Breeze is "nesmah"
