@hellmine It's another part. All this does is give you the capability to output video to the screen and utilize the touch screen for input. Apparently, it doesn't always work that well either. There are lots of complaints of it causing the batter to drain when the ignition is off. Although that could and probably is due to user installation error.

It's an add on which requires a bit of hacking of the head unit.
