Action against False Copyright Flagging by CSE (Kent Hovind)

Dear Sir,
I write to inform you of the abuse of copyright claims by cseministry (Creation Science Ministries).

cseministry (Creation Science Ministries) have been flagging videos as their copyrighted material even though they contain no material whatsoever from cseministry. cseministry was founded by the young earth creationist and public figure, Kent Hovind who is currently serving a 10 year jail sentence for tax fraud. Videos that cseministry have claimed infringed their copyright include phone calls from various scientists to Kent Hovind, Hovinds phone calls from jails where he conspires to hide property from the IRS and completely original satirical animations of the likeness of the public figure Kent Hovind. cseministry are evidently making abusive use of the copyright claims system by making false claims against videos which reflect badly on cseministry or their founder Kent Hovind.
-This is an abuse of the systems that cseministry have been systematically using as a form of 'back door censorship' and needs to be addressed.


Further cseministry have made copyright claims on videos they have previously made. Yet cseministry have previously declared that all material produced by their ministry is public domain material (see video below). Public domain material cannot be copyrighted. Indeed it would appear that it is only within the last week that cseministry have changed their website (drdino.com) to falsely claim they have copyright protection on all the material they have previously put in the public domain (see video below), simply so they can falsely flag videos critical of them on youtube. No-one can claim the copyright for public domain material, not even cseministry.
And even IF cseministry did own the copyright for any of this material, all of the videos they have flagged as infringing their copyright would fall into the category of fair use.

You really do not understand what is going on here, the CSE have been proven idiots time and time again by credible and notably intelligent scientists and majors in the field of molecular biology, paleontology, archeology, etc, etc, etc...

Their reason for flagging has nothing to due with them protecting their own so called "property" it has everything to do with censorship of showing that these creationists have about as much credibility as a painter would have in the field of music creation

Hovind's doctorate was in "Christian Education" from the Patriot Bible University which is not accredited by any recognized accreditation agency. He has no scientific qualifications. His dissertation has no title, no TOC, outlines 16 chapters but contains only 4, has no bibliography, and is full of errors such as "geological epic" for "geological epoch", and "centrifical force" for "centrifugal force". It contains no original research, the basis on which a PhD is supposed to be awarded.

@Andromedasorbit If you take the literal meaning of science as the search for truth through observation, then the big bang theory science and evolution theory science would be equally oxymoronic since nobody alive was there to observe the start of the universe and organic life. Not trying to start a debate, but rather making a point based on neutral fairness.

same here..And as they let rapist,child molesters,killers etc run the street,people are so scared to have a Christian who only sells his info to those who support him.If you don't support him,chances are you won't even know him.Untill now that is..Only to slander his name..They did it to Jesus and the Bible says they will persecute all Christains on every level..I do believe he should have given them every dime and property he owned,for the Bible teaches to do so.

You know, I learned about Kent Hovind and how he was/is in jail/prison. I learned this from an athiest (about 7 months ago).

If someone did something illegal, people should know about it. I was never a "follower" of this Hovind guy, I just thought he was a respected man among people - and I never heard of him until - I came to YT.
