@FishEaster - Thank you for taking the time to reply. I was in the USMC, and at that time we used the M16A1 rifles. We put these rifles through hell. They are government's rifles. IF THESE RIFLES WERE MINE, I would never had subjected them to things that can destroy them...After all, if it is your own properties, you probably be a lot more careful with your own things. I know that I would.

When the combat swimmer is performing a side stroke while holding the rifle when coming up for air, at times (e.g., at 1:33), what is he doing when he puts his hand up to his face?

@turing77 (a) adjust balacava (b) clearing the eyes as not wearing eyes protector (c) clearing of water in nose above the water surface. Highly important not to allow 1 single water drop to disturb the peaceful water surface.

All that chlorine must be bad for aluminum receivers, and steel parts in the rifle and pistol.

@FishEaster Not really if its a designated for training use. However. its material "protection" is able to resist the chlorine. Like all weapon there is a shelf life time.
