Here is a sample clip of a dynamic stretching warm up circuit. This routine should be performed prior to weight training. Visit www.StrengthWarmUp.com for more information.
@InsurrectionistHive Be sure to practice the appropriate movements with your resistance training. Improper form can lead to pain and complications down the road. It's always better to do fewer reps with proper form than to do more reps with improper form!
to warm up for any activity including weights you need to increase core temp so cardio warm ups are necessary of around 15 mins, then do this warm upwithout letting the heart rate drop much. This above routine alone wouldnt increase core temp enough
I've been lifting weights seriously for about 5 months now, and having noticed some shoulder and hip pain post-workout I have decided to invest some time in stretching. Needless to say I will be performing dynamic stretches before EVERY workout now, and static stretches EVERY morning to ready myself for the day. Thanks, this video was very useful :)
