She seems to just compare the KJV to all the others. What she should be doing is comparing all versions to the original Hebrew and Greek. Politics did have influence over King James as well. You can't really avoid it.

I agree. I just tried to look something up in the living Bible and it didn't make any sense at all. All the nuance was destroyed. I prefer the NRSV with notes about what was found missing or added in different authorities.

Sadly, She does not know what she is talking about in reguards to I John 5:7. There is clear and overwhelming evidence that this verse was a later addition to the transcript. (The first mention is in 358AD and none of the early church fathers mentioned it in the huge and important debate about the Trinity that consumed a huge amount of time and energy from the early church fathers. ) Please, please do a better job of research before you write things like this Dr. R.

At best most modern translations are "artistic interpretations" of the manuscripts because they have a modern copyright. You cannot copyright facts, true stories or public information.
