Hogan's Heroes in German (clip 1)

I was visiting Germany and, late one night, found this on German television: Hogan's Heroes in -German-! Of all the shows I never expected to see on German TV, this one heads the list. Very surreal. The key things to note: they (afaik) never refer to Hitler and as much as possible, swastikas were blacked out (look at the arm of the Gestapo officer in one of the clips). Very surreal to hear Bob Crane and Werner Klemperer actually speaking German! And it's -still- hilarious!

Sorry for the poor video quality-- I just shot off the tv screen using my camera.

Oh, and it's called "Das War".

UPDATE: a quick Wiki tells me that the show was actually called, Ein Käfig voller Helden ("A Cage of Heroes")

I know what you mean....I would think Germans would find it embarassing, or not funny, or have some sensitivity about it.
