About Sibley Memorial Hospital
Sibley is a non-profit, full service 328 bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area. Our campus is also home to our assisted living residence, Grand Oaks and The Sibley Renaissance which houses our Center for Rehabilitation Medicine, Sibley Senior Services, skilled nursing care and a residential Alzheimer's unit.
Mission Statement
The mission of Sibley Memorial Hospital is to provide quality health services and facilities for the community, to promote wellness, to relieve suffering, and to restore health as swiftly, safely, and humanely as it can be done consistent with the best service we can give at the highest value for all concerned.

I think the best feature about Sibley is just the small community. You walk down the hall, you know everybody. Everybody smiles at you, says hello.
Sibley Hospital's a very family-oriented hospital, like a village. So, a lot of people know everybody. It's a good feeling.
There's always help, if you need help. Everybody is willing to help each other, and everybody is really focused on patient care.
We really emphasize that physicians and nurses collaborate in patient care. Physicians are encouraged to communicate their plan of care with the nursing staff and vice versa.
It's not only great care, but it's also fun and friendly. We greet everybody with a smile every day. We have the circle of excellence, which we're all trained to give the most excellent care to patients.
Most people are like, you say Sibley, they're like where's that at? Once you get up here, it's just like a different world up here.
