Sun Stream Infrared Saunas presents a 3 part video series discussing the different types of heaters used in Infrared Saunas.

Part 2 Micron Myths, reviews the specular distribution graphs for ceramic element heaters and carbon panel sauna heaters. The graphs reveal that ceramic and carbon heaters produce a similar range of infrared frequencies.

Our video aims to explain that micron/frequency output is not the critical factor determining the heater's effectiveness in the sauna. Infrared sauna heaters differ in the amount or intensity of Infrared that they produce not the frequencies that they produce.
