Beautiful tune, beautiful hommage to that wonderful pianist Dick Twardzick.
Btw 'Memory of Dick' is also known as 'SUKIYAKI'.
Jaspar recorded it with Toshiko (Akiyoshi) and her International Jazz Sextet.
Leonard Feather writes in the liner notes that Jaspar had written this 'tasty' tune especially for that session, which of course isn't true since he recorded this version a few years earlier.

This is the kind of smooth jazz I love. Where was this recorded? I'm heading for Paris in March and want to go to some great jazz and blues clubs.
