Just for all you haters out there for this surgery...I'll let you know, I'm really against it myself, but for females that YOU ARE NOT PLANNING TO BREED, SPAYING is a good thing. After a lot of thought, we had out 7 year old female spayed-and they found her uterus was developing a tumor in it. This was because of hormonal changes happening in her body. It's better for your dog to LIVE sterile, rather than dying early of Cancer or Infection. Seriously :/

There's many ways to solve these sorts of situation but people are too lazy and too greedy. They'll solve a problem carelessly. That's who those people are. big fat pigs that uses disguise. @ObtainingNewLevels On one more note hon, I wanna just point out that I do not believe in spaying or neutering wild animals. It would be very cruel and inhumane to neuter a wild animal like a tiger or ape. But dogs and cats are animals that we have domesticated over centuries, therefore it is our responsibility to take care of them and provide them with loving homes and make sure their population does not exceed an unstable number.

@ObtainingNewLevels - (cont'd) so we can both agree that some form of controlling pet births is ideal to prevent overpopulation. That being said, even though you may be against it, I have 2 dogs that have been spayed and they seem pretty happy to me. No responsibility for puppies, no heat cycles, they are really active dogs and they have a great life.

@ObtainingNewLevels - This is the first mature post from you, congrats. I'm glad you understand the common ground that we share, I don't want animals to suffer or get hurt either, every dog and cat deserves a loving home and a happy life.

And believe me if there were dog condoms and birth control pills that I could slip into my dogs bowl I would use those instead of spay/neuter. But so far I see sterilizing as the only method to control overpopulation. I also never said that I hated you either

@TheGordogringo Look. I know that both of us want the same thing for these animals. We want them to be happy, don't want to them go to the shelter and get kill. However, our useless argument isn't going change or help anything but make us hate each other. There's many ways to do things is what i believe. I believe that we can stop them from over populating and let them have there freedom too so that way we'll be happy and they will be happy.

U want enough money to go on vacation and to spend at the stripper clubs. if u really care than there wouldn't be an animal shelter that slaughters animal instead u will get an animal shelter that would be big enough to support and take care of all these animals

U just don't want to pay the tax to take care of these animals because ur so damn greedy and because of that they won't open lots of dog orphanage. Face it. U want ur money for urself u don't care if a dog goes to the shelter and die because u wont pay for them to help the dog live on. U prevent them from having puppies just so u can keep everything to u. ur a self fish greedy person that doesn't see it.

@TheGordogringo U guys are doing something bad but u say it's good? come on now there are many other ways to prevent dogs from breeding but fuckers like you are big, fat, and lazy to do it so u just take away those animals precious gift given from god. If you care than you would make something like dog condoms or something similar but they're lazy they don't care about animals. All you care about is something quick and easy that wont hurt you. ur not the one living it like that.

@ObtainingNewLevels A female dogs wants a litter of puppies just as much as she wants a car, a lot of money and a career. And I've had my tubes tied already thank you. Not every human (myself as an example) wants to reproduce. There are lots of people who DONT want children either. I hope u don't have children
