Smoggy day, but we were taking the ferry to the Toronto Islands. No sound, but the view of the skyline is always amazing with the CN Tower adding to the effect. This is on Lake Ontario and you can also see the Rogers Centre(white dome-looking building) as well as the Bank of Montreal Tower and the TD Canada Trust Tower. Enjoy!

  • this must be old i dont see the scotia bank tower

  • Hi pmd, I believe the Scotiabank Tower is behind the TD Tower from this angle. Don't forget that this day was very smoggy as it was taken in 2006 (we had a smog alert that day, I think).

  • When on holiday i only visited Toronto for half a day and i wish i could have spent longer there.

  • i called it the skyline tower i went on it win i was little and going on in the yellow tube lookiing things scared me and i went oput and wcthed the falls and itw as dark and foggy gives me creeps thinking about it

  • yeaaa the skydome!!! yes i still call it the skydome :P much better name if you ask me

  • This is an exhilarating cornucopia of an insatiable city. I adore my city! It's always enticing to go on a ferry trip and smell the breeze of the lake. During the winter time, it is even more impeccable since there is an aura of snowy smoke rising from the frozen lake. It's like a kaleidoscope of snowflakes. What a picturesque scene! It has a voluptuous feeling, just like it's straight from a postcard! LOVE Toronto and I am privileged to be living in it!

  • Look at all that smog.

  • No, that's a myth perpetuated by those whose tunnel vision view on architecture is limited to Dubaiesque or Disneyesque extravagance. There is no shortage of beautiful and interesting buildings of a variety of styles or sights to see on the streets, squares and parks.

  • Actually if you look carefully you can spot it... the Canada Trust tower and the Bank of America buildings are there and those were built well after Scotia Plaza.
